Information we handle

We may process your email address and sign-in identifier; application, checklist, reminder, travel-history and address-history records; optional visa grant dates; subscription entitlement and purchase identifiers; notification settings, device platform and language; collaboration and sharing records; and limited security or error data. Your sign-in provider handles your password; Waymark does not receive it.

Your documents

Imported documents are stored in the app's private area on your device. Creating an account does not upload them. Cloud document upload is disabled in the current release. If it is introduced later, Waymark will explain the storage location and purpose before a document is uploaded. Opening a copy in another app places that copy under the other app's privacy practices.

How we use information

We use this information to provide account sync and recovery, organise applications, deliver reminders you enable, verify Google Play purchases, restore subscription access, prevent abuse, support account deletion, and improve reliability. We do not sell personal information, use migration records or documents for targeted advertising, or use document contents to train a general-purpose AI model.

Notifications and purchases

Policy notifications are optional. The notification service receives an app identifier, platform and language so an alert can reach your device; sensitive document or migration details are not placed in the lock-screen payload. The app store processes payment details. Waymark receives only the purchase reference, product, status and expiry needed to restore access, not your card number.

Service providers and overseas processing

We use established providers for sign-in, hosting, purchases and optional notifications. Some account and application-organising data may be processed outside Australia. We require providers to use it only to operate and secure Waymark. When you open an official source, that website applies its own privacy policy.

Optional community processing times

If you explicitly opt in after recording a grant, Waymark may use visa type, stream, application date and grant date to produce aggregated processing-time statistics. Public results are shown only after a minimum sample threshold and do not expose an individual record. You can withdraw the contribution from the application.

Retention, access and deletion

You can export or correct your records in the app and request account deletion in the app or on the account-deletion page. A deletion request has a seven-day recovery period; production data is then deleted and isolated backups expire within 35 days. Minimal fraud, purchase and deletion evidence may be retained where reasonably necessary for security, accounting or legal obligations. Deleting Waymark does not cancel a store subscription or erase files that remain only on your device.

Security and age

Data is encrypted in transit, sign-in credentials are stored in protected device storage, and purchase and notification credentials are encrypted at rest. No system is risk-free. Waymark is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18.
